On the day that her family lost their home, Kylie was just 10 years old.
She was terrified and confused. This is how her mother Amy described it.
“The first night in that emergency accommodation Kylie was so scared. She didn’t understand any of it. She just wanted to go home soon. That was over a year ago.”

After months of hard work advocating on their behalf and with the support of kind people all over the country, Kylie and her family have now moved into their new home.
Focus Ireland is helping families find a home and leave homelessness behind every day. But the number of people living in homelessness continues to rise as a record number of families are now losing their homes every month.
